I first met Mr Kavaz through an estate agent in February 2008 when I purchased one of his apartments that he was building in the Harbour.  Both my wife and I were sceptical that it would be completed on time in May but, true to his word, we were ready to move in April.  The quality of the build was good and the only extra costs that we incurred were for the electric and water connections.

When we were visiting Cyprus again later that year he informed us that he had another project of 9 apartments in the Turkish Quarter of Kyrenia under construction and asked if we would be interested in purchasing one.  This time we dealt with him directly without the use of an estate agent to set up the payment schedule.  This meant I could pay him directly into his account giving me control of the payments to him, not the estate agent, as before. 
 
We have now received the keys to the new apartment which we bought for our son and, as before, the build quality is good and was completed on time.  In our dealings with Mr Kavaz he has proved to be both honest and trustworthy, which is rare in North Cyprus!

With regard to the support we received during the construction of our apartment, we were very impressed with the way Mr. Kavaz of Kavaz Construction managed the project.

Mr. Kavaz or one of his management team was always available to meet with us to discuss our concerns. He was meticulous in ensuring that all queries we had during construction and on completion of the apartment were dealt with in an efficient manner. He carried out all requests exactly as we proposed. He facilitated us in the supply of temporary electricity and water before these services were properly available at no extra cost. He also provided us with some extra facilities during construction at no extra cost.

When we purchased the apartment in 2005 we discovered a few issues afterwards with regard to the translation of the Turkish contract into the English version. This was highlighted when we discovered we had to pay a portion of the cost for the provision of the Electricity transformer on the site and the extra water infrastructure costs. This appears to be a standard condition in the TRNC.

However, we always felt very comfortable and secure that Kavaz Construction would carry out everything in a professional manner. When we moved into our apartment in July of this year, we were very satisfied to see that the site, swimming pool and landscaping were also being properly managed.  We wish Mr. Kavaz success in his future projects and think the quality of properties in North Cyprus will get better by Kavaz Construction Company's example.  We also know we still have his support for any future issues that may arise.

I originally bought the flat from plan having met Mr. Mustafa Kavaz through Henry Charles Estate agents. Mr. Kavaz is a charming and very respectable man and, true to his word, delivered everything on schedule. Even when I had a few snagging problems when I took the keys to the flat he went out of his way to put them right immediately.

Mr. Kavaz has been very precise and meticulous in the materials he has used for the development which impressed me from the start as I am an Interior Designer working in London and deal with these things everyday. The development was done to a very high standard and has fulfilled my requirements perfectly. I was surprised when I saw the final result as I have seen many developments in Cyprus and was very hesitant at first. I would recommend M. Kavaz Construction 100% as you really do get value for your money. I wish Mr. Kavaz and his management every success in the future and am recommending his properties to all my friends around the world.
